The Lafayette Housing Authority (LHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The LHA offers one Public Housing community with 102 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply: 

  1. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (615) 666-2140 during normal office hours.
  2. Visit the LHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 613 Dycus Cir., Lafayette, TN 37083 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, you must call the LHA to schedule a pre-application interview at (615) 666-2140during normal office hours.Be sure to include these documents with your pre-application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, proof of all income, and Photo IDs for all adult household members.The LHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: Victim of a natural disaster, or live and/or work in Lafayette.For more information, call the LHA office at (615) 666-2140 during normal office hours.
