The East Jordan Housing Commission (EJHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applciaitons for families and senior/disabled individuals.The EJHC offers one Public Housing community with 27 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:1. Request to have a pre-applciaiton mailed or emailed to you by calling (231) 536-2051 during normal office hours.2. Visit the EJHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 451 Water St, East Jordan, MI 49727 during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.The EJHC does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: Live and/or work in East Jordan, veteran, employed, disabled, or elderly.For more information, the EJHC can be reached by calling (231) 536-2051 during normal office hours.
