The Cadillac Housing Commission (CHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The CHC offers one Public Housing community with 125 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the CHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 111 S Simon St., Cadillac, MI 49601, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm EDT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling (231) 775-9491 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: Birth certificates, Social Security Cards, photo IDs for all adult household members.The CHC does have a preference for: Applicants who reside in the city, state, or county; elderly; disabled; or veteran.For more information, call the CHC office at (231) 775-9491 during normal office hours.
