The Fernandina Beach Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families.Please Note: The housing authority is only accepting applications for families that are in need of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units.This housing authority offers one community with 57 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply for public housing:1. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 904-261-5051, during normal office hours.2. Visit the housing authority to pick up an application, located at 1300 Hickory St., Fernandina Beach, FL  32034, during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed it can be hand delivered or mailed to the address listed above. Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members, and a background check from your local police station for all adult household members.This housing authority does not have a preference, your application is placed by date and time received.For more information the housing authority can be reached by calling 904-261-5051, during normal office hours.
